Camping With an Inflatable Boat

Fresh Air, Fishing or Just Floating Around with Friends are Just a Few of the Attractions!

Camping is a great way to get away from it all and to spend some quality time with your family. There is nothing better than waking up to the sun just peeking over the horizon and the smell of coffee and bacon cooking over an open fire. You brought your tents, sleeping bags, cooking equipment, and other necessary gear along for the trip. Another item that you should have brought is your inflatable boat to enjoy your camping experience to the fullest.

One of the advantages of your inflatable boat is the fact that when it is deflated your boat is compact enough that you can pack it and still have plenty of room in your car for your tent and all the other gear that you plan to bring with you. For larger camping parties, you can pack several of these inflatable craft and still be able to bring anything else that you wish to along for the journey.

You may arrive at your campsite and find that is crowded with numerous other campers, especially if it is a holiday weekend. An advantage to bringing your inflatable boat along on your camping trip is the ability to move your camp to a more isolated area so that you can enjoy more peace and quiet. These boats have enough room in them for several passengers as well as room for the tents and all the other gear to transplant you and your entire camping party downriver away from the more crowded camping areas in order to find your own little piece of tranquility. You can just load everybody up and float downstream until you find the ideal spot. You are also able to move your campsite every day if you wish which will enable you to experience a daily change of scenery and allow you to explore the surrounding wildlife areas more thoroughly.

If you wish to stay in the regular campgrounds, you can use your inflatable boat in the swimming pond to paddle around or just use it to stretch out and float aimlessly. The kids will enjoy jumping in and out of your inflatable boat as well as being able to paddle into the deeper water.

Most campgrounds have public fishing areas within their boundaries, which on a busy weekend can be “standing room only” on the shore. If you wish to go fishing, your inflatable boat will enable you to sail out to the middle of the pond away from the crowds and can give you the opportunity to catch the bigger fish that are avoiding the shoreline.  You can also paddle closer to cattails and other foliage along the bank to fish in these areas of the water that are inaccessible to the fisherman on the shore. This ability will increase your chances of landing a “big” one on your fishing excursion.

The whole idea behind going camping is to relax and enjoy the great outdoors to the fullest. By bringing your inflatable boat along for the ride, you can ensure that a good time is had by all.
