Going on Vacation with Your Inflatable Boat
You Have Time for One Vacation a Year--Make it Count!
The time has come for you to take well deserved vacation, whether you journey a few miles to
a location that you can drive to in your car or you travel to a distant spot that you can only reach by boarding an airplane. If your vacation is
a yearly event or something that you do every few years, you may want to take your inflatable boat along for the
ride.
An inflatable boat is easy to transport because of its compact size when it is deflated. This compact pack can fit easily into the trunk of
your car while leaving room for all the other items that you may wish to take on your vacation. For larger families, this small pack also
leaves enough room to pack several more inflatable boats in your trunk to assure that everyone has a seat while you travel out onto a pond or
float downriver. These boats are also easily transported on an airplane as well.
There are many areas in the lower forty-eight states of the United States that are ideal to visit with your inflatable boat that can easily be
driven to. In the eastern part of the country, there are many locations to participate in boating or rafting. The Jackman-Moose River region in
northwestern Maine is a popular boating area that is isolated and offers miles of river to explore. This city of Jackman which is called “the
Switzerland of Maine” is the location of the Moose River and its various tributaries as well as other small lakes and ponds in the same area. The
area has numerous boat launches strategically placed all along these waterways to reach the water’s edge easily and the fishing is excellent. If
you just want to take a boating trip down the river, you can observe a variety of wildlife along the way, such as moose and bald eagles. It is
truly an outdoorsman’s paradise.
If you would like to travel to the southern United States to go boating, Lake Marion in South Carolina may be the destination for you. This
lake is located in central South Carolina near the town of Eutawville and is the largest lake in the state, covering 110,000 acres. There are
numerous places that are available for public access and the lake is famous for its record-breaking catfish. So if you want to use your
inflatable boat to do some fishing, Lake Marion may be the destination for you.
The western portion of the United States has numerous locations to provide a variety of boating activities. Lake Oroville is located
approximately 75 miles north of Sacramento, California and lies in the foothills of the western slope of the Sierra Nevada. The lake offers
a variety of warm-water fish such as bass, bluegill, green sunfish, catfish, trout, salmon, and crappie. Between the excellent fishing and the
spectacular setting, this may be the perfect area for you and your family to get away from it all.
The vacation spots that have been mentioned previously are only a few of the thousands of available vacation spots where you can enjoy your
inflatable boat. To find out more about these spots, you can just go to Goggle and type in the state that you are interested in visiting followed
by the words “boating areas.’ Click search and a list of Web sites will appear with listings and information about all the boating areas in
that state along with directions and a toll free number that you can call for further information.
You only take a vacation once a year (or maybe even less frequently than that). Take the time to pick the ideal spot that will enable you to
enjoy your time away from home to the fullest.
